I am testing a sensor using I2C. However, when the sensor is turned off, but with I2C lines tied high, it introduces interference to near by sensors. The only way to take out most of the interference is to have the I2C low/grounded.
However, here's the issue. While the I2C lines of Pinoccio are pulled down to GND. We can not establish any serial connection window. Do you know why? While leaving the I2C lines floating, the serial connection window can be opened.
By the way, even with the two resistors removed, the battery gauge reading seemed fine. I compared it with a few batteries, and two Pinoccio scouts ( one is original, one has the two pull up R removed as per Eric's direction). There must be some weak pull up somewhere then?
