Welcome to Good Questions! These posts help you get comfortable integrating different technologies with Pinoccio, and easily find what you need in our documentation.
Sometimes, you need to talk to your Scouts without WiFi access, or load a custom sketch to support external hardware, or capture specialized data for debugging purposes. For all these cases, you can plug in via USB and use the Arduino IDE. (Here's how.)
Once you get there, though, you need to speak the same language. These settings will handle that:
- Make sure Autoscroll is checked
- Select Newline instead of "No line ending"
- Set the data rate to 115200 baud
Your window should look like this:
If these are all set correctly, and you still see any unexpected output or error messages, first check the Troubleshooting docs. If it's not there, congratulations! You may have found a new issue!
